9 ^aProclaim this among the nations:
^bPrepare a war; ^crouse the mighty men!
Let all the soldiers draw near, let them come up!
10 ^dBeat your plowshares into swords
And your pruning hooks into spears;
^eLet the weak say, “I am a mighty man.”
11 ^{▼▼ Or Lend aid
,} ^gHasten and come, all you surrounding nations,
And gather yourselves there.
Bring down, O Lord, Your ^hmighty ones.
12 Let the nations be aroused
And come up to the ⁱvalley of ^{▼▼ I.e. YHWH judges}Jehoshaphat,
For there I will sit to ^kjudge
All the surrounding nations.
13 ^lPut in the sickle, for the ^mharvest is ripe.
Come, ⁿtread, for the ^owine press is full;
The vats overflow, for their ^pwickedness is great.
14 ^qMultitudes, multitudes in the ^rvalley of ^{▼▼ I.e. God’s verdict}decision!
For the ^tday of the Lord is near in the valley of ^{▼▼ I.e. God’s verdict}decision.
